Our History
The Routleys story began in 1953, when David and Margaret Routley founded the business in Kensington, South Australia, supplying building products to trade customers.
As the business expanded, we relocated to Mile End, where we operated for nearly 30 years. In the 1990s, we moved to Unley Road, Malvern, and honed our focus on plumbing fixtures and kitchen appliances. This allowed us to align more closely with the needs of South Australia’s building and design community.
Today, Routleys employs over 45 talented team members who provide superior service and solutions. Our showroom features an extensive range of premium brands such as Villeroy & Boch, Miele, Hansgrohe, and Caroma. These products are showcased in beautifully arranged concept rooms, offering clients the opportunity to visualise their dream spaces.
